Food 'n Film January 2016 - Roundup

The first entry is inspired by "The Princess Bride". This delicious Spiced Peanut Brittle w Cocoa Nibs was inspired by Fezzik’s line during his and Inigo’s rhyming contest, “Anybody want a peanut?” The Main ingredients represent the main characters: Butter - Buttercup, Raw Cocoa Nibs - Westley (The Man in Black), Spices - Inigo, and of course Peanuts - Fezzik!


The next entry is inspired by the 1985 film "Return to Oz." One of my favorite culinary scenes is upon Dorothy's return she comes across the lunch-pail trees, inside said pails there was a ham and biscuit sandwich wrapped in white paper, a piece of cake, a pickle, a slice of cheese, and an apple.
