Here are some Simple, Easy Easter Recipes you may want to add to your menu:

In My Kitchen - July 2015

It's time for another round of the very cool monthly happening called "In My Kitchen" run by Celia at Fig Jam and Lime Cordial. I can't believe it's already been a year since joining in the fun!

So here we go....

This Month in my Kitchen...

Native Carolina Mantid

June was a hot and humid month, not to mention a very busy work month, while July has started off extremely rainy, hot, and humid but the garden seems to be loving it. Our snow peas and squash are producing like crazy, while our tomatoes are heavy and waiting for the sun to ripen. The Silver Queen Corn in our 3 Sisters Garden is already taller than Kishore and tasseling, while the Blue Hubbard Squash and Beans are starting to flower.

We had a great Independence Day BBQ with family and friends. The dinner menu was inspired by Southwest Native American cuisine. Recipes coming soon!

Black Bean & Cornmeal Patties Recipe Link Here.

The Garden is growing and we have been reaping the rewards.

Raspberries, Kohlrabi, Patio Eggplants, Hot Wax Peppers, Summer Squash, Snow Peas, and Zucchinis.

Some new kitchen toys...
Desert Salt from South Africa that has a surprising sweetness to it. Sushi Molds for me and my brother to experiment with, and a Paella Pan.

Jalapeño Southwest Flatbread, Recipe coming soon...

Please make sure you stop in and take a glance at everyone else's kitchens!

So tell me...What's happening in your kitchen this month?

If you're curious here's a link to what we were up to  during last year's In My Kitchen: July 2014

    1. Thanks Tandy! I found the salt in a TJ Maxx was curious to try it, that's awesome that you sell it! It truly has a great taste, slightly sweet like I said, and it's great that the company is sustainably harvesting. Now I know who and where to get more, small world! :)

    1. Thanks for stopping by Cate! Yes they are raspberries, if you see them get them, they are so much sweeter than the red ones. :)
